• MKE's website was first launched in March of 2009.

How did MyKindOfEvents.com come about?

In 2007 a young lady started seeking out Christian events to attend via the internet. Thanks to networking on MySpace, and eventually Facebook, she quickly learned there were many options but the process of searching various avenues for choices proved frustrating. Soon she'd compile a weekly list and send out broadcast messages via social networks. Late 2008, after attending a Flavor Night Friday event hosted by the Soul Movement Crew (SMC) she met with Yannick & Creig of SMC who encouraged her to formally promote events via a website. Shortly after MKE was born!
